Elon Musk’s daughter reveals bizarre way she found out about potentially having another half-brother

Vivian Jenna Wilson, Elon Musk’s estranged transgender daughter, recently shared an unusual experience: discovering a potential new half-sibling through social media. This revelation came after conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair publicly claimed to have given birth to Musk’s 13th child.

In a TikTok video posted on February 15, 2025, Wilson recounted how she learned about St. Clair’s assertion via Reddit. She expressed her surprise, noting that this was not an isolated incident. “This is like the sixth time I found out I have another sibling through Reddit,” Wilson remarked, highlighting the unconventional way she has been informed about her expanding family.

St. Clair’s announcement added another layer to Musk’s complex family dynamics. She revealed on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) that she had given birth to Musk’s child five months prior. St. Clair stated that she had been working privately on a parenting agreement with Musk but decided to go public due to interference from a tabloid reporter. She emphasized her desire for privacy, mentioning that their child is “healthy and happy.”

Elon Musk, known for his extensive family, has fathered children with multiple women over the years. His children include Nevada, who tragically passed away at 10 weeks; twins Griffin and Vivian; triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian; and three children with musician Grimes: X Æ A-Xii, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus.

The relationship between Musk and Vivian has been strained. In June 2022, Vivian legally changed her name and gender, expressing a desire to distance herself from her biological father. Court documents from that time revealed her wish “to be recognized as female” and to have her name changed to Vivian Jenna Wilson, adopting her mother’s maiden name.

In the midst of the controversy surrounding St. Clair’s claims, Musk publicly expressed affection towards Shivon Zilis, an executive at Neuralink and the mother of his twins, Strider and Azure. Zilis shared a photo with her twins, to which Musk responded with heart emojis, showcasing his bond with them.

Vivian’s discovery underscores the complexities of familial relationships in the digital age. Learning about new family members through online platforms can be both jarring and emblematic of modern communication dynamics. As Musk’s family continues to grow, the intersections of public announcements and private relationships become increasingly intricate.
