Amy Schumer has slashed the price of her Brooklyn townhouse — which had a role in ‘Moonstruck’

Amy Schumer has significantly reduced the asking price of her Brooklyn townhouse, which once served as a filming location for the iconic 1987 romantic comedy Moonstruck. Originally listed at $15 million, the Park Slope property is now on the market for $13 million after months without a buyer. The comedian and actress purchased the historic home in 2016 for around $12.15 million and lived there with her husband, chef Chris Fischer, and their son.

The impressive five-story home features over 5,500 square feet of living space, with five bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. Highlights include high ceilings, intricate moldings, multiple fireplaces, and stunning arched windows. The chef’s kitchen opens into a lush garden, while the upper floors offer skyline views, including the Statue of Liberty.

Schumer previously described the home as “magical” but has since relocated to a more private residence with additional outdoor space. Real estate insiders note that while the property is architecturally rich and steeped in cinematic history, the luxury market has cooled slightly, prompting the price cut.

In Moonstruck, the townhouse served as the exterior of Cher’s character’s family home, making it a recognizable landmark for fans of the film. Despite the markdown, the property remains one of Brooklyn’s most exclusive listings. Schumer’s decision to sell reflects a broader trend among celebrities seeking more low-key, suburban lifestyles post-pandemic.
